WOYWW – Week 9

Just a short post from me this week but I’ve had a bit of a reorganize! Having been to TK Maxx I had to find somewhere to store all the ribbons and card I bought!

Out came a big box where I house all my assorted junk (CDs, PC leads, Camera manuals etc) and I tipped a lot more into there and lo and behold I had space in the cupboard!!

The snazzy red pencil case houses my promarkers…it’s already full!!!

The rest of my space is not so tidy as I’ve actually been crafting this week!

My poor old trimmer is being retired to the bin…it rips up all my paper and I know it doesn’t cut straight, so I’ve ordered myself a new one which hopefully will arrive today!

If you're interested in seeing more workspaces or sharing your own, pop over here to see more!

I didn't manage to get round any desks last week thanks to my manky shoulder but hopefully this week I can do much better!

Bet you're really looking forward to the arrival of your new cutter. It's so frustrating when our tools let us down isn't it?

I have a guillotine - and it needs replacing but I am kinda getting used to its odd angles and fear if I do replace it I shall have a hard time learning to leave the paper 'straight' again...

the dilemmas of a crafter eh?

Why oh WHY is it so difficult to make a trimmer which really works, cuts straight and doesn't need new blades twice a week? Hope you find one ...

Hope your new trimmer is a success!

I hate it if a trimmer doesn't cut neatly or square. I've got through a few in my time. Enjoy the new one!

I'm looking for a new mini-cutter. It's horrible when the cutter doesn't do what it should.

Is that bling on your desk?

I have 3 cutters sitting here that I no longer use - am just a little bit hesitant to throw them out just in case (if know what I mean!) but I have resorted to using a mat and knife for about the past year - I really must get a cutter sorted what type have you gone for?

Glad you found some space. I have two cutters and they are very bad for cutting, very frustrating especially if a really bad cut and the last of the paper you used. I had to enlarge your pic so I could get a better look at your flower garden.

Shoe-horning stash in is a never ending problem, one which I'm trying to come to terms with and failing miserably at! I see you've just finished a BA through the OU - I'm about to start distance learning; do you have any tips on time management and getting some crafting in as well???? All advice gratefully received!

Sorry to hear about your cutter. I like that style, but mine isn't plastic. It's the old school kind. Sorry I'm late visiting, but I contracted a computer virus. It's still not fixed, but I had to make sure I wasn't infecting anyone. Happy belated WOYWW.

Oh Vix I went through about 4 cutters before I got this one, it's still not perfect but sooo much better! Good luck with the new one. Love your organised space - but you need new pencil case already - suspect it might be worth buying two at a time!

Your supplies look like great fun! Also love the view of your flowers through the window! I am enjoying seeing all of the wonderful work areas even if I am a bit behind.
