My crafting has once again been non existent but I wanted to post and reply to a few of the comments left last week :)
First though for all those who asked to see some of the cards I made for the museum, I managed to grab a couple before they were taken to them and take photos.
Not the best photos but you get the idea.
Spyder asked me about the rocker blocks. I love them…my hands are so small I can only use the tiny one and the medium (around A7) sized one but they make life much easier. I have regular acrylic blocks too for foam backed or larger stamps but I can’t stamp as well with them! The cutter was a QVC bargain buy…it’s great except for on copy paper which it tends to shred a bit.
Julia, I’ve not learnt photoshop from the book unfortunately. I bought it with that intention and it has been helpful but I have learnt more from Cheryl Johnson’s latest course than I ever would from that book lol. That and online tutorials!! Still not touched even 10% of photoshop though!!
Pics above were taken with my new little tripod, which I adore!!
Hopefully some craftyness next week!!! In fact definitely as I have succumbed to the power of promarkers. Bought a set from QVC on impulse this afternoon and have a feeling this could be the start of either a beautiful friendship or a spiral into another crafting addiction!!
If you’re wondering what I’m rambling on about, pop over here to Julia’s blog for more information on WOYWW!

Hi Vix
your cards are gorgeous, oh i have bought many books on photoshop!! i found the best way was one of the magazines had a free cd on it, gave little tutorials on things much easier to follow, have great day, sue,x
Lovely cards. Just keep playing with photoshop there are some great tutorials on the web too.
Lovely cards, the scene ones are really great as no two cards need be the same!
I love my PM's but cant afford QVC prices, I go to Letraset as they generally have a few colours on offer and they change them every month or so plus, with every order you get a 10% voucher off future purchases! Ive never found a site cheaper than there! Its free p&p too!

Fab cards. Enjoy your new Promarkers, will look forward to seeing what you colour with them next WOYWW!
Hey Vix..make no mistake, it will be another addiction!! So happy that you haven't waded through that Photoshop book on your own! I just wanna have it work or someone to show me! Lazy! Like your museum cards, they seem very appropriate to the locale.
I am assuming these two picturesque are of local interest and are sold in the gift shop. In any case - well done.
Yep in the shop but they only have about 3 or 4 every few months of the stamped ones because I'm very slow lol. They don't sell many as it's very small but every little helps I guess.
Great card hun xx
When they use the rockblocks on the telly they make it look sooo easy, and sometimes after stamping things out on ordinary blocks loads of times, there's still some 'bit' missing. I might have to give them a go!
Your cards are fabulous. I've done a few like this, I'll have to find them, sorry I'm so late! Have a good woyww weekend

I've got this set of stamps, but to date I haven't had them out of the packet!
You may just have inspired me!
